Raising Arizona
Raising Arizona was released into theaters on April 17th, 1987. Filming locations include Apache Junction, Mesa, Phoenix and Scottsdale, Az. It was directed by Ethan and Joel Coen, a.k.a. the Coen brothers. The memorable score was composed by Carter Burwell. The films first DVD release was on August 3rd, 1999.

The scene takes place on the south portion of the water treatment plant property. Piestewa Peak (formerly Squaw Peak) can be seen in the background. It has an elevation of 2,610 feet.

( Lost Dutchman State Park)
Lost Dutchman State Park is a 320-acre state park located at the base of the Superstition Mountains. It's named after the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine, a famous gold mine legendary among the tales of the old west. In the first screenshot, the view is facing north. In the second screenshot, the view is facing east, with the Superstition Mountains visible in the background.

(Jokake Inn)
The Jokake Inn was designed by architect Robert T. Evans and built in 1926. It was constructed using adobe bricks. The inn closed in the late 70's and is now part of the Phoenician Resort.

The 2,336 square foot house was built in 1966.

It opened in 1947 as the Bluefield Mine Pop Stand. This location is only a mile south of Lost Dutchman State Park, the location of the picnic from the film.

Farmers & Mechanics Bank of La Grange - 27500 N. Alma School Pkwy. Scottsdale, Az. 85262
Formerly the Reata Pass Steakhouse. It closed in 2012 and the entire structure was demolished in 2015. Today, a much needed housing sub-division named Ironhorse, sits in it's place. Still at the location, however, is the water tower and jailhouse seen in the film. It's directly across the street from where the Reata Pass Steakhouse used to stand.
