Little Monsters
Little Monsters was released into theaters on August 25th, 1989. Filming locations include Wilmington, NC. It was directed by Richard Greenberg. This was the only film Greenberg ever directed, although he did direct Tales From the Crypt season two episode The Sacrifice. Fred Savage played the lead of Brian Stevenson. This was the same time The Wonder Years was in production and Savage was one of the most popular child actors in the industry. His younger brother, Ben Savage, is also in the film as his younger brother Eric. This was Ben's very first acting job and he'd later go on to star in the television series, Boy Meets World. Howie Mandel did a great job as Maurice, Brian's monster buddy in the film. David Newman did the film's score. The film's first DVD release was on July 1st, 2003

The cemetery was built in 1867. On January 31st, 1997 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. They were walking along the cemetery's west wall, southward down N. 20th Street. All of the trees seen along the wall have since been removed.
