Witchboard
Witchboard was released into theaters on March 13th, 1987. Filming locations include Big Bear Lake, Glendale and Los Angeles, Ca. It was directed by Kevin Tenney. Tenney also directed Night of the Demons and Witchboard 2. Tawny Kitaen played the lead of Linda Brewster. Kitaen worked on this project first, and while the movie was in post-production, she started appearing in White Snake music videos. Both the movie and the music videos were released around the same time, and the videos actually helped drive the sales of the movie. Dennis Michael Tenney, brother of director Kevin Tenney, composed the score for the movie. The films first DVD release was on August 24th, 2004.

The 9,918 square foot house was built in 1902. It can also be seen in Ben, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Waxwork, Willard and Tales from the Crypt episode Television Terror. The first time I visited the house in 2012, it was very visible from the sidewalk and street. When I re-visited the house in 2020, it was hardly visible at all, due to the foliage growth and a large fence the owners had installed.

The cemetery was established in 1884, as Glendale Cemetery. In 1919, it's name was changed to Grand View Memorial Park. The funeral scene took place in section F, Lot-054.

The motel has been there since the 1960's. At the time of my visit, it was the Robinhood Resort.

The structure has been there since at least the 1930's. At the time of my visit, it was an Edward Jones Investments.
