From Dusk Till Dawn
From Dusk Till Dawn was released into theaters on January 19th, 1996. Filming locations include Lancaster, Mojave, Victorville and Yermo, Ca. It was directed by Robert Rodriguez. Other notable films directed by Rodriguez include Desperado, The Faculty, Planet Terror and Sin City. Quentin Tarantino wrote (screenplay), acted (Richard Gecko) and executive produced the film. Three horror genre makeup/special effects legends had parts in the film, Howard Berger, Greg Nicotero and Tom Savini. The score was composed by Graeme Revell. The films first DVD release was on June 17th, 1998.

The building has been there since at least the early 1950's. The structure was also used as Cactus Jack's Market, in Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Emma & Pete's Gravy Train - I-15 north exit #154 onto I-15 Frontage Rd. Victorville, Ca.
The structure had been there since at least the late 1960's. It was demolished in 2012.

Dew Drop Motel - 16698 Sierra Hwy. Mojave, Ca. 93501
(Budget Inn Motel)
The motel has been there since at least the early 1970's. In 2009, it underwent a renovation and a portion of the front of the motel, including the pool, was removed. It can also be seen in the film Nocturnal Animals.

The entire structure, including everything outside of it, was a set made for the film. It was torn down, and everything removed immediately after filming concluded. Although this location was set in Mexico, in reality it was filmed in southern California just like the rest of the movie.
