Pet Sematary Two

Pet Sematary Two was released into theaters on August 28th, 1992. Filming locations include Lithonia and Senoia, Ga. Filming ran from January 13th, 1992 to March 5th, 1992. It was directed by Mary Lambert, who also directed the original Pet Sematary, three years prior. The lead of Jeff Matthews was played by Edward Furlong, in only his second film. His first was Terminator 2, just one year earlier. The film also stars Clancy Brown, who has played some legendary villain roles throughout his career, some of which include Viking in Bad Boys, Kurgan in Highlander and Captain Hadley in The Shawshank Redemption. You can also see him in A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) and Tales from the Crypt season five episode Half-Way Horrible. This film, like the first, features a song by The Ramones during the closing credits (Poison Heart). I really like Mark Governor's score for the film, unfortunately an official soundtrack was never released. The films first DVD release was on September 25th, 2001. I'd like to thank Eric Mofford for his help with this article.

Matthews house - 163 Seavy St. Senoia, Ga. 30276

The house was built in 1873. The large tree in the front yard was cut down at some point in 2016. Just a block north of the house, at 386 Pylant St, is the church looking structure seen behind Drew when he asks Jeff  if he'll help him bury Zowie.

Animal Hospital - 319 Johnson St. Senoia, Ga. 30276

Since the time of filming, three buildings have been constructed in between the Animal Hospital and the water tower. Senoia has also been a filming location for Fried Green Tomatoes and a number of scenes from The Walking Dead. As a matter of fact, the area surrounding Senoia is heavily populated with filming locations from the popular AMC series.

Gilbert house - 319 Johnson St. Senoia, Ga. 30276

The house was built in 1901 and is known as the Blount House. The house has been renovated considerably since the movie was filmed there. In the scene where Gus is chasing Amanda & Drew and they drive off in the station wagon, if you look closely at the front porch of the house across the street, you can see someone just sitting in a chair watching the whole scene being filmed.

Bridge - Travis St. and Bridge St. Senoia, Ga. 30276

The bridge is blocked off from vehicles and has only been used as a walking bridge for quite sometime. It was also renovated at some point, as it's a very old bridge. The scene from Fried Green Tomatoes, where Buddy is killed by the train was filmed on the train tracks under the bridge.

Micmac burial ground - 4158 Klondike Rd. Lithonia, Ga. 30038
(Arabia Mountain)

Arabia Mountain is the northern of two peaks in the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve. A low saddle separates it from Bradley Mountain, several hundred feet to it's south. It's peak elevation is 955 feet. It's a former quarry and is composed of granite. From the parking lot trailhead, it's an approximately two mile round trip hike to the exact spot of where the Micmac was located in the film. On October 12th, 2006 it was designated as a National Heritage Area.
